Airbus A300B4 - Holiday Airlines
Holiday Airlines was a short-lived Turkish charter airline that existed from 1994 until 1996. The airline started flying in 1994 with Airbus A320s and also flew an A310 during the summer season. In 1995 three Airbus A300s joined the fleet and in March 1996 another two. Of these five Airbuses four were A300B4s and one was an A300B2. In the last year of its existence Holiday also operated a Lockheed L-1011 TriStar.
After the crash in early 1996 of a Boeing 757 of another Turkish charter airline, Birgenair, near the Dominican Republic, Holiday was refused to fly to German airports and in November 1996 ceased operations.
The A300B4 on the photograph is taxiing after arrival at Düsseldorf International Airport.
