Airbus A300-600R - Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways is a young airline, founded in 1993. The airline, based at Doha, the capital of the Gulf state Qatar, has the intention to grow fast into a big world-wide operating hub-carrier. The airline soon added Airbus A300 airliners to its fleet and acquired a total of ten. Later the A300s were accompanied by other Airbus types like the A330 and the A340. On order is the A380.
Some A300s were converted to freighters, like the one on the picture above, which is departing from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The picture below shows a passenger A300 in the old colour scheme approaching London Heathrow
