Airbus A330-200 - Northwest Airlines

Until the takeover by Delta, Northwest Airlines was the fourth biggest airline in the United States. It had a strong position in Southeast Asia and that was the reason that it was once named 'Northwest Orient Airlines'.

Northwest ordered a total of twenty Airbus A330s: twelve -200s and eight -300s. The first aircraft were delivered in 2003. The picture shows an A330-200 approaching Tokyo Narita Airport.
