Airbus A340 - Kuwait Airways

Kuwait Airways is the national airline of Kuwait. It was founded in 1954 and it entered the widebody era in 1978 with the delivery of two Boeing B747-200s, followed by a third in 1979. In later years Kuwait also introduced the Airbus A300, A310, A330 and A340 plus the Boeing 767 and 777.

The airline took delivery of four A340-300 aircraft in 1995 and these are still in service. The A340 on the photograph is approaching Frankfurt Rhein/Main Airport.
