Airbus A340-500 - Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways is one of only a small number of users of the super-long-range Airbus A340-500. The ambitious Abu Dhabi airline flies four aircraft of the type, all delivered in 2006. Etihad also flies the longer A340-600, of which it has ordered eight.

The A340-500 on the photograph is approaching London Heathrow Airport.
