Airbus A340-600 - Qatar Airways

Qatar Airways is the national airline of the Arab Gulf state Qatar. It is a very ambitious airline, inspired by the very successful neighbouring airline Emirates from Dubai. The homebase of Qatar Airways is Doha International Airport.

The airline flies mainly widebody airliners, including four Airbus A340-600s, of which the first was delivered in Autumn 2006. The aircraft on the picture is approaching London Heathrow Airport.
