Airbus A380 - Qantas
Qantas is the national airline of Australia. Its name is an acronym for "Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services". The airline was founded in November 1920 and is one of the oldest airlines in the world. It has its homebase at Sydney Airport.
Widebody aircraft in the Qantas-fleet are the Airbus A330, replacing the Boeing 767, and the Airbus A380, replacing the Boeing 747.
The airline took delivery of its first of fourteen A380 megajets in september 2008. One of Qantas's A380 destinations is London Heathrow, where the photograph is taken.
