Boeing 747-200SF - Air Bridge Cargo

AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) is part of the Volga-Dnepr Group and entered the scheduled cargo market on April 23, 2004, when its first Boeing 747, a 747-200F, made its inaugural commercial flight. AirBridgeCargo was the first Russian airline to fly Boeing 747s.

Apart from a number of Boeing 747-200s ABC also flew a 747-300, but all early generation Jumbo Jets have been replaced by Boeing 747-400F, -400ERF and 747-8F aircraft. AirBridgeCargo Airlines is based at Moscow Sheremetyevo and performs scheduled flights to major cities in Asia, Europa and the USA.

The aircraft on the large picture is a 747-200SF (Special Freighter, a converted passenger aircraft, the passenger windows are still there) taking off from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The photo below shows an ABC 747-200F(SCD, with side cargo door, no upwards moving nose door) in the basic colours of Nippon Cargo Airways (NCA) approaching Frankfurt.
