Boeing 747-300 - Surinam Airways

Surinam Airways (SLM - Surinaamse Luchtvaart Maatschappij) operated a single ex-KLM Boeing 747-300 Combi for some years on its route between Amsterdam in The Netherlands and Paramaribo, the capital of Surinam. The airline was founded in 1955 and started operations in 1962.

The aircraft on the picture is approaching Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The aircraft was replaced by an Airbus A340-300 in late 2009.
