Boeing 747-400 - Air India
Air India is the biggest airline of India. For many years it was primarily an international carrier, but after the take-over of Indian Airlines it also maintains large domestic network in India. Air India has several widebody aircraft types in its fleet, including the Boeing 747 and 777 plus the Airbus A310-300. Air India also ordered the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
After the takeover a new livery was adopted and this is shown on the Boeing 747-400 on the photograph, which is landing at London Heathrow. The photograph below shows a 747-400 in the old Air India colours at Frankfurt.
