Boeing 747-400 - Japan Airlines

Japan Airlines is Boeing's best 747 customer. The airline added a total of 113 Jumbo Jets to its fleet, of several versions, including domestic variants optimised for flights within Japan.

JAL flies 44 Boeing 747-400s. The aircraft in an old colour scheme on the picture above is approaching London Heathrow. The picture below shows a 747-400 in a later livery while taxiing at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
