Boeing 747-400 - Lufthansa
Lufthansa, the national airline of Germany, flies a large intercontinental fleet, including thirty Boeing 747-400 aircraft. One of these aircraft is painted in the colours of the Star Alliance.
Lufthansa is a big widebody operator and it is among the biggest air cargo carriers in the world. It was the first airline to fly the 747-200F Freighter, when it introduced this version in April 1972. The airline doesn't fly any 747 Cargo aircraft any more, but seven of the Lufthansa 747-400s are combis.
