Boeing 767-200SF - DHL
DHL is one of the leading courier companies in the world and aircraft operated on behalf of the airline are flying in an attractive yellow and red livery. The American cargo carrier ABX Air was flying this Boeing 767-200SF (Special Freighter) for several years in the colours of DHL.
In June 2008 a fire broke out in the aircraft, making a hole in the upper fuselage behind the cockpit, after which the aircraft was written off. The aircraft was originally delivered to All Nippon Airways in 1986 as a passenger plane and after conversion became part of the ABX Air freighter fleet in 2003. The photograph is taken at Anchorage Ted Stevens Airport a few months before the fire at San Francisco.
