Boeing 777-200ER - Air New Zealand

Air New Zealand is the national airline of New Zealand. Its history began in 1940 as TEAL (Tasman Empire Airways Limited) operating with flying boats. In 1965 the airline was renamed Air New Zealand. In 1978 NAC (National Airways Corporation), founded in 1947, and its subsidiary Safe Air were merged into Air New Zealand.

Air New Zealand started operating widebody aircraft in 1973 when the first McDonnell Douglas DC-10 arrived. Today it flies a mix of narrowbody and widebody types, including the Boeing 747, 767 and 777. Air New Zealand also ordered 787s.

The Boeing 777-200ER on the picture is approaching London Heathrow Airport.
