Boeing 777-200ER - Alitalia
Alitalia, the national airline of Italy, was established in 1946 as Aerolinee Italiane Internazionali, and performed its first flight on 5 May 1947 between Turin and Catania via Rome. In October 1957 the company merged with Linee Aeree Italiane and was renamed Alitalia Linee Aeree Italiane.
The Alitalia fleet includes ten Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. The aircraft were delivered in 2002-2004 and four of them are leased from leasing company GECAS. The leased aircraft wear Irish registrations, like the EI-DBM on the picture. The photograph is taken at Tokyo Narita Airport.
