Boeing 777-200ER - American Airlines
American Airlines is the biggest airline in the world. The airline was formed in January 1930 when four older airlines (Universal Aviation, Colonial Airways, Aviation Corp. and Southern Air Transport) were consolidated into American Airways. After a reorganization the company was renamed American Airlines in 1934.
The 777-200ER is the biggest airliner in American's current fleet. The airline started operating the type in 1999 and ordered a total of more than fifty, all of the ER-version (Extended Range). The aircraft on the picture is approaching London Heathrow Airport.
