Boeing 787-8 - ANA - All Nippon Airways
ANA, All Nippon Airways, became the launch customer for the 787 when it was still designated '7E7'. The airline ordered 50 aircraft on April 26, 2004. Deliveries were intended to start in late 2008, but ANA received the first aircraft not earlier than three years later, on 25 September 2011. On 26 October ANA performed the first commercial flight with the type from Tokyo Narita to Hong Kong. On 21 January 27 an ANA 787 took off for the first commercial long-haul flight from Tokyo Haneda to Frankfurt.
