Lockheed L-1011 TriStar - Air Transat

Air Transat is part of Transat A.T. Inc., one of the world's largest integrated tourism companies in the world. Both were formed in 1987. Air Transat is now the biggest vacation charter airline in Canada and made its first flight on November 14, 1987, from Montreal to Acapulco.

Air Transat started using Boeing 727s, but soon also introduced the Lockheed TriStar. It flew more than twenty TriStars, including six examples of the short-body L-1011-500. Air Transat replaced the aircraft with Airbus A310s and A330s.
