Lockheed L-1011-500 TriStar - Air India

Two Lockheed TriStar-500s have flown in the colours of Air India for a short time in 1995-1996. The aircraft were operated by the airline Caribjet on behalf of Air India and were flown on long-haul routes from Bombay and Delhi to European destinations like Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Paris. The TriStars were ex-TAP aircraft.

The aircraft on the picture is seen in the landing at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
