Airbus A330-200 AtlasGlobal

Airbus A330-200 (A330-203) - AtlasGlobal (Turkey) - TC-AGL (MSN 700) - Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) - November 2019.

AtlasGlobal was a Turkish holiday airline, founded in 2001 as Atlasjet International Airlines. The company was renamed 'AtlasGlobal' in March 2015. Due to financial problems, AtlasGlobal temporarily suspended operations in November 2019. In December 2019, the airline resumed flying, but in January 2020, it stopped its operations again and in February 2020, it announced bankruptcy. AtlasGlobal used a total of six Airbus A330-200s, for rather short periods. During the summer season of 2018, it leased three aircraft from Air Leisure Egypt. Three other A330s were acquired in late 2018 and 2019.

Airbus delivered A330-200 MSN 700 to TAM Linhas Aéreas (Brazil) in October 2005 as PT-MVL. The aircraft was withdrawn from use in March 2016, but in December 2018, it joined the fleet of AtlasGlobal. It was withdrawn from use again in November 2019. In August 2020, Maleth-Aero (Malta) began to use the aircraft as 'preighter' (passenger aircraft temporarily transporting freight in the passenger cabin).
