Qatar Airways is a big operator of widebody airliners. It flies, or has flown, the Airbus A300, A330, A340, A350 and A380, plus the Boeing 747, 777 and 787. It also leased for short periods two Airbus A310s and a single Boeing 767. Part of the current fleet are the A330-200 and A330-300. Qatar Airways acquired 26 A330-200s and 13 A330-300s. The first A330-300 joined the fleet in October 2004. Because of the corona pandemic, some aircraft left the fleet, others were stored or parked, and some remained active.
Airbus handed over A330-300 MSN 680 to Qatar Airways in August 2005. In 2021, it is still operational.
