Boeing 747-200F - Air France
Apart from a number of passenger Boeing 747 aircraft, the fleet of Air France includes eight Boeing 747-200F freighters. Air France is a big widebody operator, flying the Boeing 747 and 777 plus the Airbus A330 and 340. The airline formerly flew the Airbus A300 and A310 and the Boeing 767. Air France is also a customer of the Airbus A380 megajet.
Air France is to say goodbye to the 747, however. Passenger 747-400 aircraft will be replaced by 777-300ER airliners. The French airline is also the launch customer of the Boeng 777F freighter, which is going to replace cargo 747's. The Boeing 747-200F on the photograph is departing from Miami International Airport.
