Boeing 767-300 - Arkefly
Arke Fly is a Dutch holiday airline, operating a small fleet of Boeing 767-300 aircraft. The history of the airline traces back to 1984 with the start of Air Holland. In 2004 this airline suffered financial problems, but it was taken over by the Dutch business man Erik de Vlieger, who renamed the airline as 'Holland Exel'. In 2005 there were was new financial trouble and the airline was taken over now by the TUI Group. Because the Dutch affiliate of TUI is named Arke, the airline was baptized Arkefly.
The aircraft on the picture above is in the full TUI Group livery. The picture below show an ArkFly 767-300ER in interim colours. Both aircraft are approaching Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
