As one of the biggest Boeing 767 operators, American Airlines operated a total of 107 aircraft of the type, including 67 767-300ERs. The airline received its first 767-300ER in April 1988. The type was part of the fleet of American Airlines until 2021.
Boeing 767-300ER MSN 25448 (Line Number 481) was delivered to American Airlines as N379AA in March 1993. It served the airline until June 2019 and after conversion into freighter, it is operated by Air Transport International, from August 2020 on behalf of Amazon Prime Air as N457AZ.
